The Wrangler represents a clear evolution of the Jeep that emerged during the Second World War, with the CJ (Civilian Jeeps) produced by Willys, Kaiser-Jeep, and American Motors Corporation (AMC) from the mid-1940s to the 1980s. While neither AMC nor Chrysler (after purchasing AMC in 1987) explicitly stated that the Wrangler was a direct descendant of the original military model, both the CJ Jeeps and the conceptually coherent Wrangler, with their sturdy axles and open top, have been designated as the Jeep model that is fundamental to the brand identity of Jeep, much like the rear-engine 911 is to Porsche.

STUTTART works are created using a variety of techniques from original photograph and photo illustration to 3D rendering and AI image generation. The result is beautiful automotive art that is classic in style, but forward leaning in technique.

This particular piece began as an original "prompt" that was processed in an artificial intelligence image generation application. Numerous iterations were created, overlayed and then reworked and enhanced by hand using digital painting techniques. For more info on how we use AI, check out our blog post on the topic.
